Adult Day Care Center of Las Vegas (Jones Campus) The Adult Day Care Center of Las Vegas (Jones Campus) will re-open Monday, January 31st and resume the Monday-Saturday schedule. We are pleased to resume service to our participants and their family caregivers. Adult Day Care Center of Henderson Meet our new Center Staff: Jackie Emigh, appointed permanent Director & Case Manager, Adult Day Care Center of Henderson. Janai McFarland, LPN has joined the team as Nurse. Mirna Escobar-Alfaro will bring her special talents for baking and desserts to her role as our new Chef. Christine Barajas brings her experience and spirit to the care team as Program Aide.
Henderson Returning Staff: Betty Arcos, Activities Specialist, returns to the Center bringing her warmth and energy to activities and communications, including American Sign Language for both participants and staff. Anna Prater, well known for her heart and professionalism with our participants has returned as a member of our care team. In addition, the Henderson Center team is supplemented with activities being delivered by Occupational Therapy students from UNLV, Touro University, and Pima Medical Institute. Specialists in caregiving resources are available to assist with access to benefits, SNAP applications, caregiver support classes and community resources. New Activities Caregiver Support Dinners – in planning stages for both our Centers, will offer an evening of socialization, conversation and resource sharing, to be scheduled as an on-going activity at each Center.
